The Earth is her native land. Paula has always loved exploring and studying places and cultures, both modern and ancient ruins. She is amazed by the beautiful and varied geological features of the earth. She has enjoyed teaching and sharing her knowledge of anthropology, world religion, and of the Middle East and Asia.

Paula has lived in the Middle East and Japan and was born in the Philippines. She is also fascinated with ancient Europe. She holds a Ph.D. in anthropology and Middle East studies, and a Master's in Library Science.

As a librarian and expert researcher, Paula cataloged Arabic and Persian books at Princeton University and the Library of Congress and created printed and online library research tools onlinee, while teaching classes . She was head of a division of the library at Brigham Young University, Loyola Marymount University, Rand, Boeing, Long Beach Community College and the Getty Research Center.

Paula has a strong spiritual side. She also enjoys a variety of hobbies including creating websites, cooking, decorating, quilting, crocheting, needlepoint and more.
